MAMMA (Melodies Across the Map: Masters of Art) is a premier international classical music competition founded in 2025 by acclaimed violinist Gvantsa Butskhrikidze. Gvantsa butskhrikidze

Violinist. Educator. Visionary. From the very first time I held a violin, music became not just my passion, but my purpose. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing across the globe and receiving recognition as a winner of numerous international competitions. These experiences have shaped my artistic identity and deepened my belief in the transformative power of classical music. For the past three years, I have proudly served as a violin instructor at the Long Island Conservatory in New York, where I mentor aspiring musicians from diverse backgrounds. Guiding their development and sharing in their musical journeys has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career. Yet, throughout this journey, one dream remained ever close to my heart: to create a platform where emerging talent could be celebrated, nurtured, and empowered. This vision gave life to the MAMMA Classical Music International Competition — a global stage dedicated to excellence, artistry, and opportunity.
